Defendant was convicted by a jury of aggravated arson, a first-degree felony, under Utah Code Ann. § 76-6-103 (Supp. 1989). On appeal, defendant alleges there is insufficient evidence to support his conviction or, alternatively, that his sentence should be reduced because the arson and aggravated arson statutes both prohibit the conduct for which he was convicted and, thus, he should have received the lesser of the two potential punishments. We affirm.
